Crippled Midge

Crippled Midge

This is arguably the best type of fly concept to emerge in the past decade. It is perfect for both brown and rainbow trout across the length and breadth of the country. Best used with only the hackle treated with floatant. Sizes: 10 & 12 available and in a variety of formats.
Sedgehog

Sedgehog

This is a versatile pattern and is effective for both rainbow and brown trout. It is used as a pulling fly for wild trout. It should be greased up (ginked) and fished on the top dropper. As a dry fly, it must also be ginked and is very effective for both types of trout. Sizes: 10 and 12 available and in a variety of formats.
Half-Hog

Half-Hog

It is the most versatile type of trout pattern. Whether it is fished slowly as a nymph, fast as a wet fly or with the wing ginked it has proved to be a very successful emerger/dry fly. Sizes: 10 & 12 available and in a variety of formats.
Shuttlecocks

Shuttlecocks

This is an essential fly for rainbow and brown trout, it is at its best during midge hatches. Requiring no floatant, the plume of cdc feathers at the head is capable of long duration floatation properties. To revive the cdc, amadou is advised.
Buzzers

Buzzers

Our range of buzzer patterns have been thoroughly tested across the UK and Ireland, and have proved to be highly effective. They can be fished in suitable conditions for brown and rainbow trout and will catch all through the season. Sizes: 10 & 12 available and in a variety of formats.
